Sustainable Agriculture, Agribusiness and Climate

Growth and sustainability of agriculture in Sub Saharan Africa is critical to Africa’s development. The sector is vulnerable to changing climate and evolving consumer needs, calling for innovative market solutions. Given our strong in-house climate change financing, adaptation, resilience building and mitigation capabilities, we are uniquely
positioned to lead in driving positive change. Through our service offerings, we empower our clients to navigate the industry expeditiously.

Service
Climate change negatively affects crop and animal productivity, water and food availability, leading to supply chain instability and negative human and ecosystem well-being. For this reason, we have built in-house capabilities in climate change mitigation, adaptation, resilience building, and financing mechanisms. We believe that energy management, reduction of emissions, and adoption of climate smart technologies is the key to long-term sustainability.

At Fineline, we have built strengths in supporting Clients, and other stakeholders, to develop climate responsive services, in order to contribute to this sustainability objectives. We offer services in carbon capture and quantification, strengthening of agricultural value chains, agricultural financing, water conservation and stewardship, food waste reduction, food safety and standards services linkages, and marketing
